i keep hearing about the race track in area 8-2 and i was wondering where it is. thanks in advance.

the race track is a large bar that runs between Hat Island and Camano Head. It is mostly mud and sand bottom . It produces fish year round but can be hard to fish when the current really gets going. Trolling towards camano head on an out going tide has been most productive for me but you can fish either side of the tide change. Just follow the other boats to get an idea of the layout. Finished up the chores and will hittin' the track in the morning. The rips there are really hard to judge so I've found that you just have to go and see how it's fishin'. Fishon ....
